My Underwater World—Seas, rivers, and lakes are the protagonists of this surrealist painting. They are inhabited by beings, the result of my most frenetic imagination, who combine humanoid faces and fish, symbolizing life in the underwater worlds. Here too, life in seas, rivers, and lakes is protected by these beings, who combine the natural expertise of underwater animals with human wisdom. Underwater vegetation has an important presence in this symbolic pictorial composition, showing the inseparable integration between Man, fauna and flora.
