This work depicts the oceans and seas, which are the natural habitat of marine species, symbolized here by the octopus. This natural habitat has been given the metaphorical name "Garden" in the title of this painting, to express the concept of a harmonious, happily integrated, and balanced life in the depths of the sea. The figures of the octopuses depicted here take on humanoid features, to underscore the presence of Man as the ultimate guarantor of ecological balance in the oceans and seas.
